Somewhere along the line I got the notion that this
leader was not talking of "death" but the idea of presenting
new concepts and ideas never before discussed in a setting.

The notion is that one idea can make one a pioneer in an
undiscovered country filled with ordinary people.

Right now you are one such pioneer because your vision
is unclear to the "natives" of the discovered country and
their media.

You indicated your resignation was for the benefit of the people.

An act that is similar to that of George Washington when
he gave up the Presidency after 2 terms.

Test that by asking yourself about how you feel about
voter or constituent centered decision support systems.

Is governance failing because the Leaders are not leading?
Or is it that "We the People" are not adequately exercising
power?

Perhaps in a "Republic" it is not the task of the elected to "lead"
but rather to gather and collate all constituent choices of
public concern into a single voice and decision.

The problem is that those with power do not like to give up power.

But you have already done this, just as George Washington.

Would you be willing to explore an idea of undiscovered digital country?

Would you be willing to bring the fruit of that exploration to the natives of the known country - America?
