After the last republican or conservative debate a couple of thoughts come to mind.

As surely as the Neo-Cons of the late 90's early 2000's were not my parents Republican party - seeing and hearing Donald Trump with Chris Christie make me half expect to see Snooki and JWoww come walking on stage.

Mind you - I am saying that Mr Trump, Mr Christie, Ms Snooki, Ms. JWoww have a place in American Pop Culture and I wish them well and all the best in their lives.

But it is hard not to think Republicans have traded "Neo-Cons" for the characters from the reality show "Jersey Shore".

They have traded "Darth Vader" (aka Dick Cheney) for "The Situation".

Perhaps the party has traded Republicans for Convervatives.

Let's be clear - we are talking about the "Anti-Politic" as per traditional conservative David Brooks.

Hillary may not be a better choice, but presidential campaign season is to be a season of articulation not entertainment. It is a season of "What If's".

If there is to be fiction and comparisons to TV genre's then we need political speech writer to create text that a society can say why not. Science Fiction at least gave us tech toys. Other than providing snippets for AFV - what has WWE or the "Jersey Shore" reality show inspired folks to do?
