Here is yet another reason the Trump admin is just broken, failed - not right. Most individuals have singular rules for things. If for no other reason than to make life simpler or easier. Same offenses get the same punishment. Good parenting revolves around consistency.
Compare what happened to the person who revealed Signalgate as a mistake versus the person who revealed the Maryland Man deportation as a mistake - he/she was suspended/fired.
This is NOT a comparison of the primary offense for the revelations. I'm NOT comparing deportation vs National Security secrets being exposed.
Two different people received different actions from the Trump admin for identical actions. Each individual took the action to bring something to the public eye/light.
This admin is just not right...no matter if anything actually turns out to be good for everyone. The cost to the voters is too great. The cost to the coming of age young person yearning to understand the world is too great. The cost to the nation as a people is too high. The cost to the world is too high.
These costs are too high because this is NOT an isolated pairing for comparison.
What happens on the world stage if 2 different countries that export the same product to the US and Trump decides on 2 different levels of Tariffs - for no relevant distinction? Answer - War - Conflict - Destruction.
We get more and more Trump like personalities - as leaders in other countries and here at home.
@Brian Fitzpatrick - Republicans are to be remembered as long enablers to that which will come.
Even if the Dow reaches 50k in 3 years
Even if manufacturing and national defense if made strongest.
It will mean we will need it as these behaviors have turned and will turn friend into foe with hostile intentions -- for generations
And guess what - for what? Crypto? Territory? Space? Money? -- seems like it is for personal whims of an aging mind with a long broken and tortured soul in an flabby fat body -- seeking revenge on those he THINKS offend him in reality or his imagination.
It is time to resist for one.
More importantly - start thinking and looking long term.
Start building - in writing - a living document - meant to be changed document accessible to all - that can only be made active in the after times.
Time for each individual to expand there mindset to allow for the concept of "Crowdsourcing Governance" - or - "Open Source governance" .
Time for each individual to speak up and output an idea on how to govern.
Time for each individual to speak up on what it means to be human and what is human nature
-- right now our governance has no human nature.
-- only words and acceptance of those currently, yet to be written governing words, will we put and end to this waste of time, energy and treasure that is administered by Donald J Trump.
